Jaguara Coffee: Where Heritage Meets Passion
In the heart of Brazil’s Campo das Vertentes, where golden sunlight brushes volcanic hills, stands a farm that tells a story beyond coffee — a story of family, friendship, and devotion. ☀️☕
This is Jaguara — the dream of Natália Brito and André Luíz Garcia, two visionaries whose love for coffee runs as deep as the red earth beneath their feet. ❤️
☕ The Beginning of a Dream
Jaguara wasn’t born from business plans, but from friendship.
In 2001, three friends — Antonio Wander, Rubem Carlos, and Rubem Murilo — planted the first coffee trees in the region.
They named the farm “Jaguara”, after a proud Quilombola community that has long embodied strength, tradition, and identity in Brazil. 🇧🇷
Years later, André and Natália took over the farm, carrying that same spirit forward — not just preserving a legacy, but redefining what Brazilian coffee could become.
🌱 The Soul of Jaguara
André, a third-generation coffee grower and agronomist at the Procafé Foundation, knows coffee like others know family — by heart.
He studies each tree, each branch, pruning and nurturing it with scientific precision and fatherly care.
By his side, Natália brings her sharp taste as a cupper and trader, guiding the farm toward excellence in every roast and export.
Together, they balance science and soul — creating coffees that reflect both precision and passion.
Every harvest, they experiment with fermentation and drying methods, crafting a range of flavor profiles that tell a story in every sip. 🌸🍫🍯
🌋 A Land of Gold and Flavor
Nestled near São João del Rei, a town once famed for gold mining, the Jaguara farm now mines something far richer — flavor.
Its red and yellow volcanic soil gives birth to exceptional Acaia, Yellow Catuai, Yellow Catucai, and Mundo Novo varieties, each one bursting with notes of sweetness and depth.
At an elevation that challenges the limits of Brazilian terrain, Jaguara’s trees thrive, producing beans that carry a signature clarity and complexity rarely found elsewhere. 🌄
🌍 A Vision Beyond the Cup
For André and Natália, coffee is more than a livelihood — it’s a commitment to people and planet. 🌱🤝
Their mission is to nurture both:
- Using eco-friendly technologies and organic compounds to enrich the soil.
- Implementing sustainable pruning and weed management.
- Supporting local workers with fair wages and safe conditions.
Their belief is simple: the more respect you give the land, the more beauty it returns.
🤎 Partnership, Progress & Purpose
When we first met Natália, she was deeply rooted in the commercial coffee market — but she wanted more.
Together, we began exploring her region, uncovering small, passionate producers with untold potential.
Through collaboration and innovation, we’ve watched Jaguara’s coffee quality rise, year after year.
Now, we proudly source a diverse range of specialty Brazilian coffees — complex, elegant, and full of life — proving that even in a land once known for gold, coffee is the new treasure. ✨
✨ Nordway Notes

When you sip Jaguara Coffee, you don’t just taste Brazil —
you taste a legacy, a dream, and a promise kept in every cup. 🇧🇷☕💛
